Chris Evans was talking to Michael Caine the other day and Caine said back in the 60's he went to a small house party at, IIRC, Cary Grant's place. Amongst the few other guess were Shirley MacLane and....Prince Philip.
Good on him, but I just didn't imagine him doing things like that.

Back in 1972 I was in the ATC (air training corps), we had a wing parade with a huge attendance of dignitaries. Prince Philip was the commander in chief or something of the ATC. Whislt the whole parade was stood for inspection, the Prince had a walk round and spoke to various trainees at random, I was one of them.
He was very friendly and asked me what my aspirations were,...my commanding officer was well chuffed with me because he was commended by Prince Philip. I was 12 years old.
