Hello Dean,
What good news. That engine bay look fantastic, I can see the colour difference on the front though - what a shame.
You saw the MM and know I wouldn't mind getting some of it repainted as the micro blisters really annoy me and a couple of patches do need to be dealt with. I know a whole paint is the way to go and the idea of doing it piecemeal and getting colour variation puts me off, but there is no way I can comtemplate that as I am borasic!
Anyway I reckon if you try you will be able to come to Brands and do the parade laps.

Ps. Love the P6...rather nice engine I thought

Hello Dave the car was painted in 2k just before I bought it so the rest of it is in great condition I think there's a variety of shades of pimento I've seen a few that are both shades I think I'm gonna try a different paint supplier if I can get something a bit better I will go over it again

You should be able to find a paint supplier who will mix it for you to match the rest of the car. I will have to do that as my Carmine is different some others.Originally posted by deanoed View PostHello Dave the car was painted in 2k just before I bought it so the rest of it is in great condition I think there's a variety of shades of pimento I've seen a few that are both shades I think I'm gonna try a different paint supplier if I can get something a bit better I will go over it again

DSCF1587 (800x413).jpgGiles, I've got a 2200SC P6 as well as my project Stag. Nice car but no contest in the looks department!Originally posted by Giles View PostEngine bay looks great.
Bet you are glad to have it going again.
Like the P6 always wondered about having one of them. Trouble is I think that about a lot of cars
. So many cars ...... so little time, money and space!!!!!!!!!!!
