Mop it up Nick and see if it reappears, maybe it was just a spillage?
Also I think I read on the other forum about this, it could be the filler cap not sealing properly.

Nick,
Check the breather pipes leading to the offside rocker cover. These can split and any oil vapour condensing in them willdrip into the vee. Failing that, it could be from the rocket cover gaskets.

Agree with Dave, Nick - check your breather hoses for splits and make sure the hoses are clear - however there is a slim chance it could be from the distributor -I remember that was an issue on Dolomites....
Are you taking it to the Blacksmith's?
