Coolant filling,

Help Guys,


I am about to refill the coolant ,after a complete drain (block and radiator) due to a wee mistake of adding screenwash instead of bluecol!. Is it wise to fill the block up first ,through the thermostat housing ,to save running with the block dry,then refit the housing cover and fill through the radiator ? or does filling up through the radiator on itself fill the block up at the same time?

No need to fill the block separately, just check that there is a small hole drilled in the thermostat (if it doesn't already have a jiggle pin) to let the air out into the top hose as the block and heads fill.
