My car has a slight leak from the diff, so I thought it was about time I checked the oil level. To my surprise it took over half a litre I don't think there is any whine coming from it, so hopefully no damage has been done.

I looked for it after reading previous posts but to no avail! I believe I should have found it at the top / rear/ drivers side of the diff? Although I could not see it i tried cleaning all round the diff with a small wire brush so I may have inadvertently done the job! (I'll see if I still have a slight leak or not).

Hi, it's worth the effort, if you take off the O/S rear wheel you can see it. Martin.
