Clandon Park Classic

I went to this show today. Weather was great and roof down on the way, but immediatley I got to the arena in rolled the rain so it was roof up and sit in the car for an hour ^^^^^^ wathcing the rain bounce back up off my bonnet. It then brightened and we had sun / shower / sun / shower for the next few hours. Here's a selection of pic's although I didn't rake many of Stag's as I think we all know what they look like .......

Minx in the 4th photo blonds to a friend of ours, as does the blue GT40.

Both these cars and the white GT40 were at Fontwell last year.

You may remember the blue one on the rolling road.

Hi Peter Clandon is near Guildford. My wife lived in West Clandon when we first met. There is a house here in Cupar called 'Clandon', never met the owners so do not know why. Ian, pity you did not take a picture of the house in the park it would have brought back memories.

Backstreet - Ahhh the purple Stag. Well done Sir for mentioning the nicest car in the pic's, the owner is a lucky man

John - The Minx is lovely. I am not sure if I remember the GT40 from the RR at Fontwell though. I do remember that something other than a Stag went onto it but can't say I can visualise it being a GT40. I do seem to recall a certain car springing a minor water leak though.

Peter - The way we were were marshalled in meant we didn't see the house (well I didn't anyway). Mind you the rain was coming down pretty hard..lol

I think they are allowed to leak, especially at 7000rpm. I did a bit more than leak
