If you want to send yours of to be chromed, you can borrow mine until it comes back, i woun`t be using it for a while.

I had the chromed servo pipe on mine, but the pipe was a little loose in the 'head', so vacuum wasn't as good as it could be. The Stag repairer I use reckons that chroming the 2-piece unit weakens the joint and it would be bound to leak with time. Don't know if that's correct or not, but sounds plausible to me.
Just lost out on some cross-drilled brake disks with calipers. OK, who was it?
Me too! but why were you bidding? from a previous post you said :-
I am not convinced that the standard brakes are not perfectly adequate for road use if in good condition. I know plenty of cars have sub-standard braking but I think thats down to poor condition. Also different types of upgraded pads are readily available which can improve on the original pads.
