    Branscombe Air Day

    Anyone going on Sunday?:

They won't reserve space for clubs, so if Stag owners want to park together they have to meet up beforehand and arrive together.

      Dave,
Can not make it this year but most years 3 or 4 of us come down from Surrey.
I was down in Branscombe for a week in April with the family, it is just wonderful and the Old Bakery Tea rooms .........it is just a fantastic village.

Update: Several Stag owners are meeting at the Exeter M5 Services at 0900 on Sunday morning. The weather forecast is good.............

Sorry you can't make it this year Colin. I will be up towards your neck of the woods on Friday, but not in the Stag. I have been invited to play at Sunningdale...........

Well, the weather wasn't exactly ideal, with drizzle in the morning - which meant roof up as I had my daughter and 23-month-old grandson with me. But we had 3 Stags together, plus another couple with the TSSC. A really superb collection of classic cars from 1920's Bentleys to a DB7 Vantage Volante. The flying was excellent with aircraft landing/taking off on the grass strip right in front of us. Star of the flying show, for me, was the Hawker Hurricane which gave a thrilling display that made that Merlin work for its living. Wonderful.
