    fired up

hi guys , after eighteen years ,my stag fired up after a few niggles ,i am so chuffed ,i thought it would take ages , but not much more than three quarters of an hour , it sounds brilliant , now the usual downside ,the water pump has failed , water in the v straight away , so i have stripped it all down and am now in the market for an external pump , i cant complain as its been on my car for 132,000 miles but ,now its packed up ime going another route ,something else not to worry about ,it hasnt stopped me bieng over the moon that the engine runs , i have tried to find the threads for the chap that does the external kit , but on this new forum i cant seem to find it ,

even hough i have a knackered pump ,i am still over the moon that she runs , its not having confidence reassembling all the bits ,i have had numerous setbacks but now i can sort out all the other bits in the knowledge that the engine will work , i have now bought steves external water pump kit , i have just to source the bracket to move the alternator , i believe wards do a kit , i will go to bed a happy man tonight , brilliant day . thank you all for your kind remarks

if you get the wards bracket i think you have to change the alternator as well ( upgraded )

Andy, I have Tony Harts bracket, you can use existing alternator with that one.
