rear hub bearing adjustment spanners

im having a mare im up to my neck in work and deperately trying to get my stag finnished and mot,d for n/day.ive rebuilt the rear end and including the rear hubs with new bearings but ive not adjusted them yet i tried with my big shifters but they are to thick .so ive ordered two spanners laser cut profiles out of tough steel and ones 10 mm thk and one 5mm only trouble they just told me today i may need to wait up to ten days for them...........so anyone near me with a set i could borrow they are 52.1mm whatever that is in old money.

You won't like this Steve, I have a pair I had machined at work from 2 brand new Facom spanners. trouble is the distance between us! if you could collect or someone relay them to you then your welcome. they would be expensive to post. I am seeing Martin at the weekend and could give them to him if that helps.

ian that sounds like it might be a plan you going north up martins way or is he going south? i could pos intercept somewhere along the way comming or going.adrians comming over to me soon but not sure when sooner i get these adjusted the quicker im done.

We are meeting up in Yeovil Somerset, for a long weekend and going to the Haynes museum, I could take them with me for Adrian or Martin to bring back North and them collect them on ND if that helps.

hi ian i do have a dti but i had to put some tool steel on the hub flange as when the needle popped thru the hole it was a tad short of the hub, the body hit the wheel flange before the needle hit the hub flange so some 1/2 square tool steel sorted that .

martin your a star if adrian cant do it i will give you a shout can even meet you somewhere,ive pmd adrian just awaiting reply.

This spanner fits the large back nut on the drive shaft a treat http://www.screwfix.com/p/monument-t...ner-52mm/37949.
I did mine recently but used solid spacers machined them out of some steel tube.
When is this weather going to brighten up and least be warm!!!
