How do I fit poly anti-roll bar bushes?

I'm doing a full rebush of my Dad's Stag at the moment but I don't know how to fit the anti-roll bar bushes.

The bar is a bit scabby & even if it wasn't I don't think I'd get the bushes along the bar. As they are pretty well surrounded by steel I'm wondering can they be cut and clamped around the bar?

The poly bushes normally are cut so they can be fitted on.

The ones I put on mine seemed to be a bit big and probably should have been cut a bit shorter, but to be honest I couldn't be ar$ed so I left them as they were!!!

bit of wd40 and mine slid onto the roll bar without any issues whatsoever.

Gavin, makes ure you add the grease that comes with them as if you dont, it wont be long before they start creaking as they dry out and start grabbing the bar.

OOpps, I didn't get any grease with them. I'll try & smear a bit of silicone lube into them.
