Engine block colour..

I now have my block back from the machine shop and is looking a bit naked.

First of all it needs some colour, what do you guys and gals think would look good in a yellow car..?????

I'm just about to paint mine today. I'm going with gloss black - isn't that the original colour?. My cars yellow too I don't think it looks good to mix too many colours - just my opinion - but if you don't open your bonnet to strangers - who cares! It's taking a couple of hours to mask up the block as I've just got it back from the machine shop. I'm using Plasti-coat engine primer and paint hopefully it will last a reasonable time.

Absolutely right. Only Americans Hot Rodder wannabees and Chavs paint their engine blocks anything other than black

A Productive Day

Well six coats of paint later the block is painted. Can you see the bit I missed .
The picture of the engine bay might explain why I stuck with black. Not sure what other colour you can add to yellow and black.
