Cheers Andrew I'll do that. it's a bit frustrating at the moment not being able to reply on the forum straight away.
I'm picking it up on saturday, it's going to be a long week.
I joined the SOC on friday night, I'm just waiting to get my membership number so i can sort the insurance out. I'm not sure i can wait until saturday.
I still think java green is the best colour. Sober colours, like dark blue, don't do it justice. I can't be doing with topaz either. If it's going to be orange, make it proper orange.
I won't comment on Russet, for fear of upsetting people

      Hi Danny,

Not that I am offering help 24/7 but I am very close to you (in Navestock) so always willing to assist where I can.

Enjoy the Stag and watch out for the Deer - there are loads out jumping hedges at the moment!

      Cheers,
      Mike

I know Upminster far too well for my own good. My brother lives in Hornchurch and I went to Havering technical College (Whatever it's called now) In Ardleigh Green Rd, in 1985

I been away in France the past week so just I'm catching up with the forum, well I never fought that I would have something in common with a Millwall Fan? But my grandad was from Poplar, Just off Chrisp Street who was also a Millwall fan (the only black sheep of the family God rest him)

Poplar to Ongar now thats what I call a culture Shock! Ongar's not to far from were I live in Harlow?

I grew up across the road from Chrisp St. It is indeed a culture shock.
An old neighbour of mine, Paul Ratford don't know if he's on here, had an absolutly gorgeous Stag that got crushed by the biggest tree in Poplar in the 1987 hurricane

                              Ditto (Dordogne / Lot area)

The catching up takes quite some doing, doesn't it?

                              And welcome Danny

That is a great colour. I bought my 1971 Mk1 Stag first week of June, another classic 70s colour- saffron yellow, loved every minute of it and found the forum 100% supportive.

Have fun - what a time to pick up a new Stag, take care of your hood they need a bit of gentle TLC, I have found.
