Double earthed rear light bulb holders

Someone on the forum mentioned that there are rear light bulb holders that have extra earth terminals so that you can make your own additional earth to improve the brilliance of the bulbs.

Where can I get them?

Thanks John. I can see he sells them on ebay, but it doesnt state that or show any difference. Presume all his holders have this extra or is it just the brake / tail?

Hi Andrew,

When I recently replaced my rear light units they came with this type of bulb holder and I had to make up new earth connections. Not sure they make the lights any brighter if you already have good earth just more reliable. I got them from Robsport so they must do the bulb holders separatly as well.

The single contact, reverse and indicator bulb holders have a separate earth terminal, I can't get hold of the double contact, brake/side light bulb holders with the separate earth terminal any more.

James Paddock supply them as standard for the single filament bulbs. Doesn't make the bulbs any brighter, just makes them work!

Peter at LD parts makes a comment about the poor quality of some of the holders on the market. I bought some from one of the suppliers not mentioned above and he is right. Why do I stray??????
