how do you resize photos to post

i give, up ive been trying to resize photos to post, but dont know how ( my son does it but hes not in)

If you have Microsoft Office Picture Manager, there is an item "Compress Picture" under Menu "Picture".

I always upload any photos to embed in a post into Photobucket and then copy/paste the URL address.
