    Oil Cooler Pipes BW35

    Hi

Can anyone tell me what the route is the oil cooler pipes should take from the box to the oil cooler? Should it pass between the wngine and chassis leg? Should they be mounted to the chassis leg? Or should they run at high level between the oil filter and manifold?

    Any photos would be ideal!!!

    Regards
    Richard

My car has a Rover V8 fitted but I believe the gearbox installation is the same.. I know the cooler is! The pipes ran down low between the engine and the chassis rail. They weren't clipped to the chassis even if they were supposed to be, but I will be looking to do that when they go back in. I dont have much in the way of a photo though... the engine is out of the way in the picture once I had it all in bits..but even though I can decipher the photo I defy anybody else to! there are cables and pipes everywhere![IMG][/IMG]

The pipes you are interested in are down by the steering rack and cross member..... hope it helps a bit

Richard the pipes run along the side of the chassis they have a clip that holds them together then they sort of come up about the engine mount at least thats what is on mine.
