Hi All

Not strickly Stag related but I have a 2nd hand tailgate for my Range Rover that is in need on some Pymouth Blue paint. I haven't painted anything since the late 80's and that was 105e Anglia shaped..

I understand cellulose is no longer available ? correct?

So what are the alternatives for home painting? I have home compressor / air tank and a very cheap paint gun that is probably good enough for primer.

Any of you guys been here and probably more importantly anyone near High Wycombeshire have expertise / recommend a suitable paint gun and an hour to teach me. I can do all the prep and filler primer it but need help with top coat. The only quotes that I have are a long way the other side of £100 which seems a bit steep for a job that I should be able to do.

I can still get cellulose paint. Is the tailgate off the car or do you need it sprayed attached?
