hi martin ,i was in crater and steamer point about that time just six months out of boys service , but i was up in the radfan mountains most of the time on the yemen border , we lost five men out there , but were buried out there , i loved the hot weather , and just wearing shorts and desert boots,it came a bit hard going back to tunic and bearskins and public duties when we came home .
