Gent's as you know the door panels are a real pain to keep secure to the doors.
The fixing that I have bought are all pretty crap and enevitably pop out.
I spoke to a guy at Bresco vehicle parts today who supplies a multitude of fixings for all classic cars.
I discussed bellow with him after purchasing double 5/16 pipe fixing clips.
We got onto the subject of poor quality door card fixings.
I did say that according to some of the guys on this forum, the fixings from LD are way better than the others are supplying.
He has told me that Ref No: FIX188P are the best ones for fixing old door trims' the others
Ref: 14480P are better for new door cards, these are the ones that are being supplied by most, but as you know are not to secure, and don't keep a tight fit.
I am not in any way connected with this company, but thought it might be of interest to someone out there
 
as I have bought shed loads of clips that just don't work well and are really of no use. However I have now bought the FIX188P type from Bresco. Will let you know how they are
