found another cure for grey faded window switches,Nivea hand cream ! smear a good dollop on and leave overnight then clean off and put a shine on with a spray of plastic polish.mine have been black as coal for weeks now so it does work and if swmbo's hands get rough she can help to rub down any dodgy areas on the bodywork so double result

Anything which has oil or similar in it, will blacken the switches but the real trick is the then seal that in or it starts to go grey after a few weeks. So far, and not having tried too hard, I haven't found something to seal it with that lasts. Might try hairspray as female grooming products are all the rage it seems!

you mucky minded lot it's er indoors hand cream hence the reference to rough hands for sanding down the body work, but how it got from her lotions and potions box to the stag is a complete mystery to me. honest !!!!
