Whilst out making lots of noise this morning, I discovered that my indicators had stopped working. Also thanks and appologies to you, if you were in the blue car behind me, you made me realise that I had the problem despite you being fairly rude to me
.
It appears to be the flasher unit which, was a surprise because I changed this recently because of slow/no flash rate on the old one. However, when trying the hazzards, which work fine, when I switch them on and off, the rev counter needle blips to about 500 revs (engine off but ignition on) Is that normal or is there some form of a short?
Also, the rheostat, seems to work in a fairly even way but switches of the dash lights completely when fully anti-clockwise - is that normal?
Finally, the internal light switch, switches off the passenger door lamp when the internal lights are switched on and the drivers door is open - is that normal.
There is some optimism in the post but I cant help thinking that I have some leakage and/or crossed wires somewhere..
