Interior blower

Evening All

The interior blower on my car only operates in the slow setting. Nothing happens when I pull the control knob into the second position.

Any suggestions?

Mine aswell again on the list but way down at the moment if anyone gets to do this job please let us know what the cause is? I suspect it is a faulty switch as the fan works!:?

Mine works fine thanks! I would suspect faulty switch, dodgy connection, broken wire, in that order.

I'd probably check the dodgy connection first (cos it probably won't cost much to fix!) then the switch/wiring, but those are the places to check......

mine to, only works in fast when you pull the knob hard or wiggle it ? got new one s/hand just got to fit sounds like youve dicovered another weakness in a product thats barely 39yrs old! to much pullin an pushin i guess.......... steve.

Got my cars mixed up ,it was my other stag that the switch didn't work. Just been out in the funkybanana, checked the switch. Working AOK.

Had the same problem on mine, if memory serves the fault was a bad connection in the in line connector block next to the air vent in the drivers footwell, worth a try.

just fixed my heater(second speed not working)turned out to be slate/grey cable broken,simple fix ,just ran parallel cable from switch to heater .hope yours is as easy to fix Len
