anybody bought any chromed items off flying finch on ebay and were they ok ?

My experience is very good. Had quite a few things done including bumpers and small items. He aims to please, so just be straight with him. Even better for me as he collects and delivers

I've had about ten things off him and I've been pleased with all of them.

I wanted my intake grille and hardtop fixing horseshoes rechroming and I went to a professional company and they quoted me about three times as much as Ray Hodge (Flying Finch) did them for. Ok, the quality might have been a bit better but I'm happy with the quality/price balance of all the stuff I've had from him.

I've used him for cam cover bolts and an oil cap for the Stag, and previously for chroming a TR7 cam cover and wheel nuts. He's very easy to deal with and provides a fast service at reasonable prices. I'm also happy with the quality of his work. The finished results depend a lot on the condition of the item to be chromed in the first place.
