i think ive just bought the wrong inner door handle

is there any difference between mk1 and mk2 i can not see how the control link fits to the handle

mk 2 handles have a longer part to the cast which holds the lock thingy

mk1 will not fit correctly

on the handle the bottom part (the lock lever) there dose not seem to be any way of fitting the control link to it

if i have got the wrong type can they be modified

Mk1 has one operating rod to the lock mechanism. Mk2 has two rods. As Alan said the inner handles are not interchangable.
