    Motor Heritage Centre Gaydon

We are down in the area camping over the bank holiday seeing relatives, and as today was a free day, and I have always wanted to go, we visited this morning. We where expecting to spend all day, but after 2 hours, we had pretty much exhausted everything. Was expecting more to see and do with the kids to be honest, and considering it was a bank holiday Saturday, hardly anyone was visiting. Probably worth going if another event was taking place, but if not, don't expect to spend all day there. The end of line Stag was not there too which I was looking forward to seeing. All in all a bit disappointing.

The Stag is usually on the second level in the main hall..............Did you take the kids on the 4X4 track.

Was not on the second level, staff suspected it was on loan or being cleaned or serviced.4x4 track not running, no other attraction apart from the main building which was quite unbelievable for a bank holiday Saturday.Currently sat inside a tent with it pissing it down, another wet miserable August bank holiday! At least the kids are happy jumping on the air beds!

We tried to get the last production Stag to National Day but it was going to cost over £1000!

What about Gaydon as a venue for National Day? Would it be viable? Enough to do in the area?

That would be a good idea.It appears other car clubs have held club rallies there, they have the facilities for such events.
