Dunsfold Wings and Wheels

Instead of sitting at my PC this morning I should be racing along the runway at Dunsfold today. I made the effort to get up this morning but promptly went back to bed with a sore throat and headache. Grrrrrr.

I am hoping with a days rest I will be up for it tomorrow. I think there will be some other Surrey SOC members there. Hope i can make it.

Best of luck Chris, I have had this since last Monday and still feel like S**T we even had to cancel a weekend away at some friends in S'Hampton. I had to give in to it on Friday afternoon and come home from work.

Well, this morning came and along with it the sun. To top it all I didnt feel like crap either.

So off I went to Dunsfold and spent a great day doing what I like best. There was only one stag there today (apparently two yesterday) and that, a RV8 sapphire blue car belonged to Peter, who I have met before. We ran together down the runway a couple of times and its great to get chance to watch the speedo hit treble figures legally and without worrying about plod. The was also a very quick MGB V8 roadster (Sebring style) and a Mini with a GT40 engine/tranny in the rear, now that was fast!

That's about it for this year now; how quickly it goes.
