fuel pump another question

Got the fuel pump running from an earlier thread, just so i am clear the feed from the fuel tank goes to the bottom banjo fittting on the fuel pump?
The pump is running but no fuel to outllet.
Have checked the obvious fuel in the tank

Any ideas before i strip it down

Hi Phil, it depends on which pump you've got. If it's original, the fuel lines will take a natural route. If it's an electronic one with parallel ports and brass adaptors, don't strip it down, you'll be very lucky to get it re-sealed. Martin.

It the original SU pump with contacts
With the two ports one above another.
Is the bottom port the inlet and top the outlet??

Can't be much help with your pump but I can confirm you have the connections the correct way round.

How much fuel is in the tank?
Have you recently replaced the fuel feed inside the tank? There have been cases of new ones not reaching the bottom of the tank and people having to put several gallons in before fuel starts flowing.
