OK..... I am impossible to offend: Given the name Russell by a cruel parent(s), had ginger hair - not red, ORANGE, had freckles when I was a kid to boot.

I have English, French, Dutch and ugly blood running through my veins - my kids, thanks to my adorable wife have English, French, Dutch, Scots, Polish and Russian blood in their veins and maybe some other as yet unknown (no not milkman - though strictly speaking not an ethnic group in it's own right - yet).

I am an ecumenical abuser - I'll take the p*** out of almost anyone - yes it has ended occasionally in violence directed at my person, but I've taken that as just desserts.

By all means have the joke column, by all means post a warning if you feel a particular group may take offence, but in this sue everyone, accident compensation, PC and Human Rights infringement world, try to keep it all in proportion PLEASE! It was only, I'm sure meant in a bit of fun to try and cheer up a plainly depressing world.
