Mountney steering wheel fit on Moto Lita boss?

I'm thinking about changing my Moto Lita steering wheel however replacements are too expensive and like rocking horse poo on ebay! Seen a few Mountney ones at a reasonable price but not sure if these will fit on a Moto Lita boss. Don't really want to fork out for a new boss if I can help it.

I have fitted a motalita onto a mountney boss but i had to redrill the fixing holes,not sure if you can do it the other way around though.

Nt Mountney boss was £20 from Halfords.

The two steering wheel types have a different number of holes, 9 on the Moto-Lita and 6 on the Mountney. If my memory serves me correctly three of the holes on the Mountney steering wheel line up with the Moto-lita boss. But the boss will need to be repositioned in order to line the steering wheel up correctly.

Re-drilling the Moto-Lita boss is an option but you would have to consider the implications in terms of reducing the strength of the boss as there would be a minimum of 12 holes in it.
