Driver's Wiper Pantograph - baffled by this one !

Trying to get the wipers sorted. I think the ball socket at the bottom of my driver's wiper is incomplete, as there is no obvious way in which it connects to the pantograph arm slot. Any close up pics of the offending part would be great, plus any comments on how it sits on the wheel box drive. Is the amount by which the wheelbox protrudes outside the windscreen important ?

These might help. I have only loosely assembled the wiper as I dont have the rubber seal yet. I also need to put something in the big hole for it to wipe

Good luck with this. I have scratched my head a few times but am pretty certain now this is how it fits!

Thanks very much for this. Key questions for me are:

      1. Is there some sort of "key" protruding from the ball joint of the driver's wiper that goes through the pantograph slot and engages the similar slot in the bodywork at the wheelbox ? I think I'm missing this.
      2. Do they have a chrome bezel on the driver's side the same as the passenger side, or is it dropped to allow the mounting of the whole pantograph paraphenalia ?

The key is in the Chrome bezel. You need a rubber seal with the key slot in it aswell. That goes on first then the pentograph arm then the chrome bezel and locking nut then the wiper arm finishes it off.
The two sides are different but you can buy both as new kits from James Paddock for around 9.00 plus the VAT

            AAHHH !

The order is everything ! Wheelbox, pantograph gasket, pantograph, bezel, nut, wiper arm.

Now working and all I have to fix is my wiper parking which still isn't right. I'll get to it.........

Got my oil pressure gauge fitted today along with the hood, so coming along.

            Thanks guys.
