    steering rack

not sure if this is correct or not but i was told, if you do not use the car for some time ( 10-12 years ) the seals in the steering rack will start to leak

as im rebuilding the front suspension at the moment, with the front crossmember off do i need to do the steering rack as well

one thing it was a recon rack 10-12 years ago its had fluid in and dose not leak at the moment

    thanks dave

I'm doing mine but that's because it hasn't moved in anger in thirty years so don't know if it leaks or not.... wouldn't touch it otherwise.
