I went to this today and was actually one of the first to get there - unlike me I know. As I was booked it meant I should have been able to park in the Square, but the spotty little steward took me through it to the side lane. I protested and he said that they had to fill that first and I would get seen by as many people, although there had been a couple of cars in the Square.

So me being me I wasn't having that and told him I was going to park in the Square, reversed back and did just that ^^^

When the other cars started to arrive, someone I know (the blue Stag) ^^^ had exactly the same situation he told me later....but reversed back and parked next to mine. Got to make age and experience pay eh?!

I had a good chat with the owner of this 635M ^^^ who I had met before. This year he has has had some panels resprayed since last year, It worked for him as he won one of the 6 prizes - best turned out car he thought it was.
Anyway, here is a selection of the Yank stuff :

This is the really old stuff that I don't know a lot about ....;

.....and the stuff Ilike a bit more - the day to day 60's and 70's stuff ;

The owner of this TR4 ^^^ bought it in 1976 - in fact he said he swapped it for a Vauxhall Viva. He does know that he got the better part of that little deal too! It's done a genuine 70k miles and he toyed with the idea of selling it last year.

The owner of this one ^^^ showed me his original bill of sale from 1962 which included a full tank of petrol charged at £2 /10s

A few of the dcars were for sale including the grey 924 (c£2.45k), the RR next to mine (c£6.5k) and one of the Healey Sprites (c£3.3k). The red Elan in picture of the 60/70's stuff was car of the day and the blue Stag next to mine (insured for £22k I will have you know!) was in the top three for that. Regretably, and understandably, the MM wasn't anywhere on the radar
