I am restoring a 1971 stag with auto box (bw35). Having difficulty locating speedo drive. Engine and gear box are in car, do I have to drop the box to get at the speedo drive ? Or can I fit the speedo cable in situ ?????
Anyone who wants to come for a free few days in the south of france to help me finish the restoration, contact me ! I will pick you up from Nice airport !!! Food, accomodation and booze ( within reason !!! ) supplied.....

The BW speedo drive can be fitted with the box already in situ.(its on the rear extension)

How would getting to the South of France be free?

I enjoy working on Stags & have holiday left!

Thanks for your reply. You would need to find your flights ( to Nice either BMI baby, Jet2 or easyjet ) and then we would pick you up from the airport.
