Deep front air spoiler

Hi to all, not to sure how this works! Can ony one tell me how to fit the "deep front air spoiler" to my stag, is their brackets or is it fiberglassed on? any help would be great, Best Regards Tommy.

As it's a modification you can do it whatever way works best for you ,I've got a smaller bib spoiler just held on with bolts through it but if I were fitting a deep one I would probably fit it with brackets and then fill in the seams with fibreglass or filler as the deep ones seam to look like they are part of the bodywork.Cheers Steve

I got mine from Rimmers. There is no fixing kit and the mounting "postions" were not exactly symmetrical from one end to the other so each bracket had to be made slightly differently.

The shape around the lower air intake was quite poor so the gap (over twenty mm) had to be filled with a layup of fibreglass sheeting and resin.

I dont have any photos of the brackets but I could crawl underneath the shell and get some for you if you need them.

Let me know if you want pictures of those brackets. Sometimes though its better to have your own ideas. I made them from stainless steel and tig welded them. Fixed them in place with Stainless bolts and nuts. The bolts through the spoiler are also stainless steel but they are now captive.
