    Finished Dash

    Hi Guys,

well its done, i have spent all morning polishing it, just needs a good coat of beeswax now, i have the chrome ring for the hazard surround to fit then its up for sale. Considering it's my first i'm really pleased with it, it looks better in the flesh, i have not given it a glass like finish as i didnt think it would look right. now i need to crack on with my own Walnut dash.

i have found that you need to put a lots of layers on, you will end up sanding half of it off to get a good finish

i bought them from a model shop on e-bay called Sail-RC. They are number plate decals for cars, 3mm Aerial white

        hope this helps gents

Thanks Neil, the rubbing down was not as bad as i thought it would be, glad i did it by hand though, if i had done it with a sander or something i would have gone through the lacquer
