Gear selector oil seals (BW35)

HI, guys lots of questions on auto boxes at the moment and here's one more.

Can you change the gear selector oil seals in the side of the box with the box in situ?
and can you still obtain the seals?.

Borg Warner parts you can get from JPAT Tel No 01934 852772 I'me not sure if you can get the cross selector shaft out with the box in place you would have to drop the sump pan valve block but I don't know if you would have enough clearance to pull the shaft out. Somebody out there may have done it. But I guess its worth a go

Cheers, didn't know if you could flick/lever them out from the side of the box without removing shaft ?

As far as I remember you can't without removing the shaft drop russ a PM he may know if it can be done Cheers Graham
