As far as I can tell, there's no trick photography involved - although I expect there are one or two out takes ! Bit of a slow start but keep viewing ! Cheers Julian |

A few thoughts of mine:
1) Lots of beautiful scenery
2) Excellent filming - making even some run down places look good.
3) One for the Scots out there - who knows what all the concrete blocks at around 5.00 minutes into the film are ?
4) He doesn't look like a spring chicken !
Happy viewing guys !
Cheers

Well, it WAS the same bike at the end - maybe a bit like Trigger's brush
Mind you, talking about what the Stag was made from, if it used the same metal as the bonnet release catch then I reckon there'd still be about 25,000 on the roads. Quite why the bonnet catch, of all things, needed to be made of Kryptonite - or something similarly strong and undrillable- I'll never know !

Easy Peasy. We dug a big ditch and then put a bridge over it. We used to charge everyone extortion money to cross it but we're a bit more relaxed about that now. Just 'safety' cameras left but to be fair, our leaders apply them to all.

AHA! I couldn't figure out what you guys were on about, because when I clicked on the link I got a trailer for 'Machine Gun Preacher' or something like it. I've now seen the right one and that lad sure gets about. He does eventually arrive in the Dunvegan car park but along the way, he's been to Argyll and the Isle of Raasay, where the concrete blocks are. I believe they're remnants of the rail infrastructure that existed when Iron ore was mined there, which I think followed the charcoal industry. I haven't been to see these blocks but I guess they lead to the huge storage hoppers for the ore, just above the old pier.
That bike boy has a lot of other clips in a similar vein on youtube, so he's a bit of a wizard on wheels, it seems. And as I'll not be getting any younger, I'll stick with the Stag.
With best wishes,
Duncan

Thanks for the info Duncan.
That's weird - every time I clicked on it before it went straight to the video but I tried again just now and got an ad for a movie first of all
To anybody who hasn't seen it, it is worth waiting for - click hereCheershttp://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v...G6tw&vq=medium and enjoy the viewing, eventually.

Dave.
I looked at some of the other you tube videos and on one of them he tightrope walks along a wire, fairly unsteadily, and then cycles along the damn thing
