I've fitted my hardtop for the winter. As you can see it's in black contrasting with my white car, which I actually think looks okay. I was wondering if anyone else is using a hardtop of a different colour to their car (pictures please!)
Hey, Believe it or not, all that Stag won't fit into that rubbish container. The car is the same colur and trim as mine, so donate it to me and I'll pay the shipping to NZ. Just thought I'd make the offer.
Cheers Ian A

It will fit if you if you leave it in the rain for long enough
There was no need to go public with this Martin, I'm embarrassed enough already!
Sorry mate, I just couldn't resist. Hope we'll still see you for coffee tomorrow ?
To be fair, finding one the same colour is extremely unlikely, and how the hell are you going to carry it home without sticking it on the car ? Martin.

The car might not fit but the bl***y original hardtop would - however I didn't bin it as I thought I might be able to use the good bits of the metalwork (which I have) so, as you like the colour, if you'd like to send me £1000 I'll get it shipped over to NZ for you
I did mine Silver and it just looked wrong! I went and bought the correct Blue in the end and repainted it. I do agree though that in some cases it does work especially Black.
Ian.

I redfurbished my original qhite Mk1 Hard top several years ago (just discovered it was 9 looking at the photo album!) and decided to have it painted black. Although the Stag is now a different one, the hard top is the same and still looks good - IMHO
