    Oil in the bore

Hi all, i'm rebuilding my stag engine and it is mounted on an engine stand. It has been rotated so that the crank shaft is uppermost for a week or two now, and today when I span it through 180 degrees to have a look at the piston tops I noticed that there was a run of oil on one of the bores. I have been liberally splashing oil all over the crank etc during re build and I wondered if some could have gone into the bore and over a period of time worked its way past the rings.
What do the "Guru's" think? Am I in trouble?

    Thanks

Not a problem Paul, it's just found it's way around the rings and through the end gap's. Instead of using oil on reassembly I use Graphogen http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GRAPHOGEN-...3#ht_720wt_814 expensive but excellent stuff.

    Ian.
