I have fitted ones from LD's in my old carb's and they seem OK, having said that I have some Grose one's ready to fit in my new carbs in the future.

I am curious. Why send them back? I have fitted them since this summer and they are just fine. No more sticking needles. I would recommend them.

It would appear that Bruce may have been supplied the wrong one's but needed to get his car back on the road.

Yes and they refused to admit that they were the wrong valves for a Stag. They reckon the valves in a 175 carb for a TR6 are different to a 175 carb fitted to a stag and as they kept telling me that they do not support the Stag as a model they could not take responsibility for the valves not fitting my car. Which is obviously bo**ocks as you guys have had valves from them which fit. But, they will refund me the cash but not send me the correct the valves.

So, if you have recently received valves from them and not actually tried fitting them yet, be warned they could be from the same bad batch that I was supplied with. Seeing as so many of you seem to have valves lying about, can one of you please measure the length of the body for me as I requested in another thread?
