I think that the E Type actually seems good value if you consider that it is an early 3.8 litre and that it has been professionally restored. I'd bet that you could not get one professionally restored for much less.
In this, their 50th anniversary year, I've seen them go for much more.
Mind you, I could think of any number of other cars I'd prefer to spend £65k on (assuming I had the money!)
