Pressures - check the spare

I hit one of the many potholes we have around here in my Vectra today, wheel damaged & tyre punctured, I fitted the spacesaver (costsaver more like) and it looked a little flat. When I got home I found that the spacesaver was at 35psi (warm) when it is supposed to be at 60psi. I wonder how many of us check our spares regularly? I intend to do it more often in the future, I bet that doesn't last 6 months though :-(

When I bought my Stag, it had been expensively serviced and MOt'd 2 days before. I jumped into it and drove it down to SW France, trusting that all was checked. When I got down here I found that the spare was as flat as a pancake! The wheel brace was missing as well!

I think we are all guilty of not checking the spare.
