"luminition spider removal"

Hi Guy's, i have Luminition fitted to my car but no fitting instructions, "how do you remove the spider" does it just pull off , as it seems very tight and i do not want to damage it.
Also how much should the base plate move via the vacuum advance unit when "you suck on it so to speak".

Also does anyone have a copy of the fitting instructions, scanned or the like?, they could send me?

The chopper pulls off, I would try to lever it off as close to the centre as possible, It won't take much to snap it.

Cheers guys, got the instructions, got my "CHOPPER OFF", vacuum unit does not seem to move when i suck on it (so to speak) , talking to the "Distributor Doctor" about a new one, does your base plate move when you suck on the tube?. Also the screw that goes in the base plate and locates the arm for the vacuum unit is worn, do you know were to buy them from,the dizzy doc said their are like hen's teeth?.

Yeah M&M, I broke my chopper by pulling it roughly up, it caught one of the vanes on the optical sensor. Take it easy!

You should be able to move the vacuum advance by sucking on it. If you can't it's stuck - may just be old grease that can be cleaned up.

I was more worried that he caught one of the veins on the optical sensor, sounds well painful!

I couldn't get hold of one either but found a screw with the same thread and made one.
