Calling all Stag owners in Cheshire/Shropshire/North East Wales

Evening All

I know several of you on this forum reside in the Cheshire/Shropshire region. Are any of you interested in meeting up for a run out, treasure huntetc now that the evenings are getting lighter or at a weekend?

From looking at the SOC magazine most of the groups seem to organise their meetings around the various car shows. Sitting at a car show all day does not interest me. Getting out and about in the car does. Any interest?

I live in south Shropshire and like you do not like sitting around at shows etc all day! We could all meet up at Big J's pub in Wellington then go for a spin. Someone will have to take Big J unless Wards finish his car sometime this year!!!

I will hopefully fix my master cylinder today so will have brakes again:shock:, may be after Prescott we should all go for a run out, I know some cracking roads from touring the area on my motorbike.

Of coarse you will all need sunglasses if I come due to the beautiful orange of my car!

Suggest we meet up in a couple of small groups and then combine at agreed location.

Just to let you know afew of us are meeting on the Booths car park in Knutsford (behind police station) at 8.30am on Monday 5th(bank holiday) for a drive out to a local show, not as the club just for a drive and a mooch round, you are more than welcome to join us.

I would like to but have a few problems:-

a) the wife is planning on taking the Stag to Llangollen that day with some mates of hers.

b) I am looking after our young son and dog that day and the chance of me geeting us all out of the house and into Knutsford for 8:30am is very slim!

Which show are you planning on visiting?

Bob - it's The Red Lion Hotel, Holyhead Road. Wellington, Telford, Shropshire. TF1 2EW. or - go into Google Maps - type in the post code TF1 2EW, turn on the satellite view and zoom in. The Green arrow actually points at Rons house! The big white square is the roof of the garage next door and you can see the white lines of my car park next to that! I'm that cluster of buildings to the left.

If anyone eats Walkers crisps we're also running the 2 for 1 meal offer advertised with them! (Sales opportunity!)

... and ... not only will I show you my wheels but I'll also let you look at my new leather interior, ceramic coated 4 branch exhaust manifold and (if they're back) my shiny re-chromed bumpers and re-veneered dashboard and centre console. Whoooo Hoooo.

The only stipulation I make is ... if I show you mine .....!
