    Faulty Choke Cable?

After one of my choke cales snapped back in the summer I replaced them with the current repro ones available, well now it seems the l/h choke isn't working, had a quick look and cant see anything wrong at the moment,im limited as to what I can see due to having to glue the new choke knob, the supplier said he will replace the choke if its faulty.I've got to take me dad to hospital now so will have a better look when I get back,is there anything I should check before hacksawing the choke knob off?
    Thanks for any advice.

Hiya Mark, the cable outer could be loose if the spring clip on the carb has escaped, or the inner may not be trapped by its screw. It's possible the inner has broken inside the outer but it's very unlikely. If the cam has dropped off the shaft that would do it, but again, very unlikely. Martin.

Thanks Martin,I was able to get the choke knob off and it seems the left hand cable is stuck in the metal tube so it's getting sent back tomorrow as they said they would replace it if faulty.
