Stag Wiki

Hi All,

This is a follow on from the "Gallery on Forum" thread.

I suggested that a Stag Wikipedia might be a good idea. I have been messing around and I have managed to put one together. The web address is:

http://www.stagwiki.com

It is a work in progress at the moment so it is a bit rough around the edges (A bit like my Stag really). The site is actually hosted on my PC at the moment (If you are a hacker, please don't break my PC :shock: ) so if I am not online then the site is down!

I still only know the basics so if it breaks it may all disappear but I hope not. If it gets a good reception I will look for a more permanent home for it but please have a look and play around with it and add some information. You will have to create a username and login before you can look, but it doesn't ask for any personal information and will only take a second. (Ignore the link that says donations, it is there by default and I haven't worked out how to remove it yet! - I don't want your money)

Please have a look and add some info and let me know what you think. If it works it could become a huge resource, if it doesn't then never mind !

I think this is a great idea. I hope others think also so you can get this hosted on the main stag site.

The current technical assistance documentation contains great information but I personally find it very difficult to search online. Hopefully a well structured Stag Wikiwith good search capabilities would be extremely useful to the members.

Hi Guys,

Just an update (And a shameless plug to get myself back to the top of the listing :shock:).

I have been busy on the StagWiki site so it now has a bit of content, doesn't seem like much but you have to start somewhere!

Following on from the recent comments about parts quality, i have added a section where you can add information regarding where you bought parts, when, and how good/bad they were. That can be found here:

I have started added some windows wallpaper as well, only one size available at the mo but easily tweaked in a photo editor. There are two backgrounds so far, available in all Stag colours , so 40+ images so far! I have one more set to upload at some point, but I am not spending any more of the bank holiday in frnot of the computer, thare is a Stag out there needs driving!. This one is Topaz but a bit dark!

I have tweaked the security settings as well, you no longer need to register to view the site. You will have to if you want to post anything. (I have had 8 visitors so far and no posts so a bit of a slow start!). if you want to stick something up there and are put off by the script involved PM me the info and I will upload it, although please have a go, the system saves history so it can be rolled back if it gets messed up.

Hi all,

Just a quick update.

I now have a proper home for the Stag Wiki. It can be found at www.stagwiki.net (Not Stagwiki.com as previously stated although both should work soon).

I knackered the database trying to transfer it to its new home, so if you had registered before your username will have been lost. after a painfully long weekend I managed to rebuild it.

As a result of the move, none of the links in my previous posts above will work!

Please feel free to add to the site, it will only be as useful as the information added to it.

Hi jbuckl,

It was created in a 3D modelling package called 3D Studio Max. I was based on a photo I took of one of the logos on the back wing . There are assorted other colours on my Stagwiki site.
