Paint colour matching

My car was painted by it's previous owner with an unknown (to me) colour, and I'm struggling to find a match. Does anyone know somewhere in the Milton Keynes or Aylesbury areas that might be able to mix me up a can from a sample? All the places I've tried want the colour code or recipe.

most colour shops will use a little machine thatchecks colours and then tells thaem what shade/maker used it. but the match, as in my case still only gives the nearest match not an exact, to do that you need someone who is prepared to mix abit at a time to get the exact match.

My car is BRG a local sray supply shop mixed up a can from a colour chart. The match was almost perfect i was very impressed. next time i need some i will ask for the next darker shade though.

Mine has just been colour matched in Milton Keynes, that's where my sprayer gets his paint from, he just sent my boot lid off and came back with a match and a chip but he wasspraying it anyway! I can't remember their name, I will find out tomorrow for you.
