hi Guys, SWMBO bought me one and i need a boss to fit, anyone know which will fit a Stag?

The one you need is an SB034. There are some on Evilbay at the moment.

No Alan. Many owners put Mk2 wheels on their Mk1a as they're smaller.

Correct, the bosses are the same only the original steering wheels are of different size.

thought so, thanks again Alan. i like the expansion bottle on your site by the way, i have one from a Sierra, it fits around the inner wing post, i just need to plumb it in now, a trip to the scrap yard is in order when i have the time. very informative.
