Hello Dave yes they are 15" 205 60 tyres fitted ,the car is a manual and was previously runnig 195 70 14" strange thing is the ride is now smother on the new tyres even though they are slightly lower profile(uniroyal rain sport)previous tyres were firestone 18 years old but hardly worn

Looks nice, i have black minilte replicas with a polished edge, 15 inch with 195/65 15 tyres. I think they suit the stag perfectly!

No problems with tyres rubbing, the springs are standard height and the wheels were made by compomotive

I am not surprised the ride is better, if your old tyres were 18 years old the rubber would have aged and become hard. very dangerous. It is a good job you changed them

In principle dave i would totally agree, but the old tyres were not cracked or perished at all .and the car is always garaged so no perishing of rubber due to sun uv

Tyres really do degrade with age, even if you cannot see any visible signs. They certainly get harder and lose a lot of grip after 5 years or so. After 18 years they would be very poor.
