The short answer is "Yes" The next question is where and where to go? One suggestion is to head Big J's pub (Wellington, near Telford) again like last New Year. However, I have not yet contacted Big J to see if he amenable to that suggestion.

Any other suggestions?

Brilliant! I will have to come in my PI Estate though as the Stag will be on SORN so I can do the doorskin(s)...

Big Js pub would be good again, but maybe we could leave the scrapyard out this time!

I am up for a trip on new years day, probably the Toledo this year, as I took the estate last year, and the TR is in bits being resprayed. Oddly enough I am doing a doorskin on the Stag too

Mrs Rubce here. I thought the scrap yard was a particular highlight of last years trip, hence I felt the need to take you all there with the crap, I mean unusual directions provided by my other half.

However, if you don't wish to visit it again I'll scrub it off the agenda... and as Tristan the GT6 will be making a guest appearance I shall not be in charge of navigating... something which is perhaps a blessing... did I ever mention I went to the Lake District via Blackpool??? It was not particularly scenic and has consolidated my dislike for the land of ballroom dancing and rock ever since.

So as Bruce will be in charge of how we get to where ever we are going we are just missing Dale as tale end charlie. Oh Dale... are you coming too?

Would have loved to have come , but the STAG is in the body shop and I dont think it will be right for then.

It was in Telford when we came up to that stupid set of traffic lights that only permit buses through them. To turn round we entered a scrapyard. I tried to give the impression that it was part of the planned route but I was bubbled by Brian and Dale!

Having contacted Big J he is happy to see us all again at his pub on New Years Day.

Who else is up for coming along for a drive or simply meeting us there? A bit of food, a pint and a good natter with fellow Stag nuts sounds like a good way to start off the New Year!

Whilst I was looking at the map yesterday evening I was thinking of bringing us into Wellington from the south via a run over the Wrekin. Start point could be either Audlem or Prees Heath (Whitchurch) like last time.
